Nick played soccer with Sarah but they were on different teams. Nick said ” My team has won 5 championships. You have not won a single championship yet.” “Well, we will win this year’s championship.” replied Sarah. After weeks of training Sarah’s team began to play in the league games. Sarah’s team began winning games at the start. They were pretty confident but in the middle stages of the season, they began losing a lot of games. They finished 5th with one game to go. Sarah’s team had to win the game and Sarah wanted to prove to Nick that she could win. So after days of training,Sarah’s team won the game and were in the playoffs. The win from the previous game boosted their confidence and they won all of the playoffs. It was the finals. Sarah met Nick’s team. Sarah’s team was confident but so was Nick’s team. At halftime, the score was 2-2. Sarah’s team had more confidence though and as the final whistle blew, Sarah scores from a pass and won the finals 3-2 and proved Nick wrong.
